Our 50 g bourbon vanilla powder comes from the SAVA region of Madagascar, the historic birthplace of this exceptional spice. Made by grinding whole pods, it captures all the rich aroma of a fresh pod in powder form, with the added convenience of being easy to use.
Each 50-gram jar is made from pods of the variety Vanilla planifolia, recognized as the most aromatic in the world. We grind the entire bean—pod and seeds included—to preserve the full range of aromas: the creamy notes of the seeds and the woody, cocoa-like accents of the pod.
100% whole, ground beans
Our powder is radically different from industrial vanilla powders, which are often diluted with sugar, maltodextrin, or added flavorings. Not so with ours:

Our 50 g bourbon vanilla powder is directly packaged in airtight glass jar after grinding. This choice is no accident: glass is inert, does not impart any taste to the powder, effectively blocks light when stored in a dark place, and seals tightly after each use.
As with our pods, we strictly avoid any chemical treatments. No sulfurization, no aggressive artificial drying, and no technological additives: the only step in the process is mechanical cold grinding, in order to preserve the most volatile aromatic compounds.
The purity of our powder is verified: each batch is tested by an independent laboratory (microbiological analysis, absence of contaminants), and certificates are available upon request for both our business and individual customers.

Storage instructions
Our 50 g bourbon vanilla powder se conserve idéalement 24 mois dans son bocal de verre d’origine, bien refermé, à l’abri de la lumière, de la chaleur et de l’humidité. Rangez-la de préférence dans un placard, loin des sources de chaleur (four, plaque de cuisson). Ne placez jamais le bocal au réfrigérateur : la condensation à chaque ouverture provoquerait la formation de grumeaux et altérerait progressivement l’arôme.
💡 Good to know : une fine cristallisation blanche peut apparaître en surface de la poudre au fil du temps. Il s’agit du givre de vanilline, phénomène naturel et recherché qui signale une très haute concentration aromatique. Loin d’être un défaut, c’est un marqueur de qualité premium.
